su·per·mom
/ˈso͞opərˌmäm
noun
INFORMAL•US
1.
an exemplary or exceptional mother, especially one who
successfully manages a home and brings up children while also having a
full-time job.
I’ve seen my Mom cry three times; the
first was when I told her at 17 I was pregnant with Alexia, who now is 12 and blossoming into a beautiful young lady. Thankfully her reaction was a bit different
with babies two and three. I'm 30 with three children; my lifestyle is a bit different than the typical 30 year old. In addition to blogging and other things, I AM MOM
FIRST. For me to be transparent with my readers, I must peel the layers to
Jasmin off. As we prepare to transition to a new year, I reflect on the things
my children have done this year, the skills they’ve obtained, the milestones my
one year old has reached and the morals instilled in them. My girls are growing
so fast. Mt twelve-year-old is about two inches shorter than me (LAWD). This
year was her first year in junior high, in which, I also became the PTA
President. There are many layers to me. I’m proud of the things I’m able to
accomplish before 7AM. My blended family is a well-oiled machine.
It’s my favorite time of the year,
holiday season; and I’ve been thinking about Christmas Eve traditions I want to
create for my family. What are your family Christmas Eve traditions? Please
share, but remember, Jesus is the reason for the season. My girls have outgrown the Santa Claus phase now that they are pre-teens. We are truly blessed.
A picture of our tree this year is below. It is a live tree. My girls think I
went overboard…lol
Happy Holidays!

VEGAS BABY!!!
FIRST, I don’t care how much research you may do beforehand, traveling with a toddler is UNPREDICTABLE. Before this Spring Break, although my daughters have traveled overseas by cruise ship, they’d never traveled on an airplane. Mommy for the win! I’m not the typical 30 year old mom of three. For this reason we embarked on our journey to Las Vegas, Nevada. Before you guys get tho thinking, who takes their children to Vegas...allow me to answer, “Jasi”. They enjoyed every moment. Vegas is indeed a kid friendly destination. Dolphins, tigers, sightseeing, shopping, indoor theme park; we did it all! The best part was the “thank you Mommy for taking us on vacation” when we were headed home. When I became a divorcee and single mom of three I vowed to create as many memories as possible with my three musketeers. Below are a few pictures from our memorable vacation! Enjoy!
PS The Prince CUT UP on the plane ride to AND from Vegas. Let’s just say it’ll be a while before I put him on another aircraft.
